Career Counselling Cell
Special lecuture on “Career Opportunities in Indian Air Force” was delivered today by Flying Officer (Admin and ATC Officer) Archana K.A. and W.O.-S.K. Singh. It was a power-point presentation attended by hundreds of students and greatly appreciated by them. There was an interactive session also between the students and the officers. The whole team of Career Counselling Cell along with the Principal and a few other staff members were also present there.

A demonstration with power point was given today in wake of “Yuwa Jyoti”programme by NIIT personals Ankur Chauhan (Centre Manager NIIT) and Mr. Anshul Gupta (Territory Head, NIIT) Saharanpur in Career Counselling Cell room. The room was packed with students along with several faculty members viz. Dr. shashi, Dr. Pratibha, Dr. Vidula, Dr. Indu Sharma, Dr. Neha, Dr. Yogita etc. A number of doubts were also cleared by the NIIT personnels regarding the programme on the whole, the programme was focussed on overall grooming and presentation in interviews.
CAREER IN L.I.C.
A career counselling session was conducted by L.I.C. personnel in “Kalangan”at 12:30 p.m. on 21-nov-2014 regarding career prospective in L.I.C. . The valuable information regarding the career options at entry level of agent ship, establishing themselves as development officer in marketing sector and opportunities even for a part time was imparted to the students in a very simple and lucid way.career in L.I.C.
I.T.S. Young Talent Hunt
I.T.S. Young Talent Hunt competition was conducted on 26-Nov-2014 in the College Hall ‘Kalangan’ at 10:00 a.m. in which 220 students participated. 45 students were selected for the grand finale to be held on 29-Nov-2014 at I.T.S. Mohan Nagar,Ghaziabad where the winners have lucrative cash prizes, apart from having free campus placement opportunity at I.T.S., Ghaziabad in placement fair on 21-March-2015.

Seminar on “Career Opportunities in Banks and other Govt. jobs and how to crack them”
‘Career Opportunities in Banks and other Govt. jobs and how to crack them’ was the topic of the seminar held in college hall on 18-Dec-2014 which was conducted by the T.I.M.E. personnel Dehradun known throughout India for their excellence having 225 branches throughout India .Mrs. Divya Dubey – the best PDP trainer in the region along with her team consisting of Mr. Ashish Ashu, Mr. Dhiresh Raj Chaudhary and Mr. Anshul Kumar from Roorkee held the seminar discussing various topics on personality development and how to crack different competitive exams. The hall was packed with students. Dr. Indu Sharma, Dr. Harvir Chaudhary, Dr. Khalid Anwar, Dr. Shashi Nautiyal,Dr. Vandana Ruhela etc also had their gracious presence.

A Seminar by the personnel from City Website “Saharanpurweb.in”Mr. Ketan Rai (Sales and Marketing Head, Greater Noida) and Mr. Nitin Sharma (North India Head) was conducted today for Campus Placement in City Web. Which is an online shopping and information Website of and for the people of Saharanpur, one step forward to make the City high-tech.
A seminar was conducted today at 11:00 a.m. in room no-19 to tell students about free Basic Computer Training being provided in the college to all the students so that no studets of this college legs behind while appearing in online exam due to his/her lack of computer knowledge. Apart from that, Employment Officer Sh. s.P. Sharma also told students of different employment opportunities in Govt. Sector. They were also told about registering themselves in ‘Employment Exchange without going there. Principal Dr. A.K. Mittal also encouraged them for setting higher goals in their life & work accordingly.
An Animation Camp was orgnised today from 11:00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. in the Kalangan today in which more than 500 (five hundred) students participated Sh. Vipin Chandra (Regional Sales Head, Arena) Sh. Vipul Jain (Centre Head Arena) and Manish Gupta (Area Sales head, Arena) along with their team comprising of approx 15 members came to the camp and told the students the job opportunities in this area. Scope of animation is not limited to cartoons or caricatures only rather there are different fileds like multimedia, Graphic design, Web design and mant more. They had also shown the live demo of animation greatly appreciated by the students. Graced by the presence of Secy. Sh. A G.K. Competition was held today in the college from 09:30 am to 10:30 am to different streams and classes has registered themselves. It was a written multiple choice question paper consistingof 75 questions of 1mark each. Top ten questions wil l be given by the award.

A career Seminar was conducted today at 11:30 am in Kalangan by TIME personnel in which Ms. Pallavi Sharma (P.C.S. Assam, UK qualified, Civil Services mains qualified four times, qualified pre-exam for executive representing India in United Nations focusing for mains) counselled students and guided them about Civil Services, P.C.S., SSC-CGL, Army Services, Banking, Insurance and other Govt. Jobs. Many students had a number of quaries which were solved by Ms. Pallavi. It was attended by a number of Faculty members also as Dr. Shashi Nautiyal, Dr. Khalid Anwar, Dr. Hari Om Gupta, Dr. Jyoti Singh, Dr. Sandeep Gupta etc.
JQL 2017 NATIONAL QUIZ COMPETITION
I LEVEL COMPETITION – 02.11.2017
Jaipuria Quiz League – 2017 National Quiz competition’s I level wa conducted in the colllege today in which 42 teams of students participated. It was open for all the students of graduation II & III year. The competition was in the form of MCQ containing 50 MCQ’s of half-an-hour duration. First prize was won by Ms. Khushnaseeb & Ms. Akansha of B.A. III year. Both of them were given cash vouchers and ATM of AXIS Bank of 2500/- each. Second placewas won by Mr. Rajat (B.Sc. III) & Rustam Panwar of B.A. II and Third place was won by Akshay Kumar & Ankit Kumar (B.Sc. III).These students were selected for Regional Round to be held on 10.11.2017 at Lucknow.

A seminar was conducted today in Room No. 19 at 11:00 a.m. regarding the vocational courses. The chief guest of the programme was Sh. Sanjeev Ranjan C.D.O. (IAS) and the Guest of Honour was Dr. Shailendra Singh Chauhan (D.D.M. NABARD).
A Workshop on “Change Attitude and Be Employable”was conducted today at 10:00 a.m. today in soon 19. (Prof. Sudhir Sharma (Registrar V.G.I. Greater Noida) & a motivational speaker told students about job & work and how to become workaholic to be employable & successful in life. He told about ‘Neuro – Linguistic Programme’ about conscious and subconcious mind, Neuro-allignment, Environment created by seniors, elders for good behaviour of juniors, children. Steps to get success in NLP are – 1. Environment 2. Behaviour 3. Skilled 4. Values input 5. Identity 6. Purpose. Told about M.I. (Multiple Intelligence) test – seven steps – 1. As the Vocational Courses of ‘Bio-gas plant’ and ‘Mushroom-farming’ were going on, student went for site visit to see the working of these two things practically.
