J.V. Jain College, Saharanpur was set up in the year 1955 by Lt. Shri Rai Sahab Lala Praduman Kumar Jain revealing his love and devotion for knowledge and education resulting in the first step in the district for the establishment of higher education institutions to satisfy his lust. With the aim to provide higher education facility for the district as well as overall personality development of the students, Shri Rai Sahab Ji donated a large part of his property for the establishment of this college and hence gave a start to higher education in the district.<\/p>

Dr. Roop Chand Jain Ji was the founder principal of J.V. Jain College. As a result of his non-stop efforts, hard work, and devotion, this college was the first to start with classes of Masters Degree in the district. Today J.V. Jain College, affiliated to Maa Shakumbhari University, Saharanpur is amongst one of its biggest colleges maintaining its lead in the quality of education and keeping up to the hopes of Shri Rai Sahab Ji that the college would live up to the trust responded in it by the people of the district.<\/p>

J.V. Jain College, Saharanpur is the biggest college in the district with a capacity of about 4000 thousand students, more than a hundred well-qualified and competent teachers in the faculties of arts, commerce, science, law, education, home science, and computer science. It successfully runs U.G. classes in 19 subjects and P.G. classes in 15 subjects. Other than that all the departments have produced many Ph.D. scholars adding feathers to the cap. All this hard work has resulted in achieving a \u201cB\u201d grade in the N.A.A.C. Evaluation in 2014.<\/span><\/p>

Every year U.G.C. and NCERT grant financial aid for the research works to be done and encouraged which is the need of this hour for the nation\u2019s welfare. J.V. Jain College holds an important position in Maa Shakumbhari University regarding the quality and quantity of research works done. J.V. Jain College, Saharanpur has redeemed its pledge to make the college a pioneer center of education.<\/span><\/p>

A pioneering college to say the least, J.V. Jain College, Saharanpur has the distinction of being one of the biggest colleges of M.S. University, Saharanpur. A humble beginning marked the start of the college which has been imparting education for the past 70 years. Led by men who are visionary in every sense of the word, the curriculum has been so designed to impart quality education and make success a by-product. The management of the college assures that all resources are harnessed to make learning an experience to treasure.<\/span><\/p>

Our students have been known to add many chapters to their respective success stories and once they leave the college and become a proud alumnus of the college. Faculties with unmatched calibre and experience coupled with state of the art infrastructure go a long way to ensure the products of this college stand out as beacons of knowledge in society.<\/p>
