J. V. Jain College Saharanpur attained its present status of an independent Department in 1961 for UG and 1964 for \u00a0PG .Today the Department runs its own UG and PG Programs in Physics. Sh. M. K. Jain was founder Head of Physics\u00a0 Department . This Department \u00a0is unique in nature for its PG Programs and interdisciplinary research fields. The objective of the Department \u00a0is to achieve synergy among the teaching and research Mathematical \u00a0Physics, Material Science, Nanotechnology, Bio-physics . We have faculty with interest ranging from Expt. and theoretical aspects in material sciences . Success rate of physics students upto 90 percent.
