I.T.S. Young Talent Hunt competition was conducted on 26-Nov-2014 in the College Hall ‘Kalangan’ at 10:00 a.m. in which 220 students participated. 45 students were selected for the grand finale to be held on 29-Nov-2014 at I.T.S. Mohan Nagar,Ghaziabad where the winners have lucrative cash prizes, apart from having free campus placement opportunity at I.T.S., Ghaziabad in placement fair on 21-March-2015.

A seminar was conducted today at 11:00 a.m. in room no-19 to tell students about free Basic Computer Training being provided in the college to all the students so that no studets of this college legs behind while appearing in online exam due to his/her lack of computer knowledge. Apart from that, Employment Officer Sh. s.P. Sharma also told students of different employment opportunities in Govt. Sector. They were also told about registering themselves in ‘Employment Exchange without going there. Principal Dr. A.K. Mittal also encouraged them for setting higher goals in their life & work accordingly.

An Animation Camp was orgnised today from 11:00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. in the Kalangan today in which more than 500 (five hundred) students participated Sh. Vipin Chandra (Regional Sales Head, Arena) Sh. Vipul Jain (Centre Head Arena) and Manish Gupta (Area Sales head, Arena) along with their team comprising of approx 15 members came to the camp and told the students the job opportunities in this area. Scope of animation is not limited to cartoons or caricatures only rather there are different fileds like multimedia, Graphic design, Web design and mant more. Jaipuria Quiz League – 2017 National Quiz competition’s I level was conducted in the college today in which 42 teams of students participated. It was open for all the students of graduation II & III year. The competition was in the form of MCQ containing 50 MCQ’s of half-an-hour duration. First prize was won by Ms. Khusnaseeb & Ms. Aakansha of B.A. III year. Both of them were given cash vouchers and ATM of AXIS Bank of 2500/- each. Second place was won by Mr. Rajat (B.Sc. III) & Rustam Panwar of B.A. II and Third place was won by Akshay Kumar & Ankit Kumar (B.Sc. III).These students were selected for Regional Round to be held on 10.11.2017 at Lucknow.

They went to banikhera (SRE) for bio-gas plant & Ghatra near Jandheri, (SRE) for mushroom farming alongwith Dr. Sanjay Saini Swadeshi (Trainer for Bio-gas plant & Mushroom Farming), Dr. Mamta Singhal, Convener, Career Counselling Cell & Dr. Shashi Nautiyal, Co-convener of C.C.C.

One day Workshop on latest information technology was organised today by CCC in which Dr.Rakesh Roshan from IMS, Gaziabad told students in a very interesting way how to earn while they learn,with the latest tech.e.g.- On Facebook if we put our lecture on ‘Event head’ and People Follow us, we can earn there.He also told about Android App Development & Said in search engine of Google only those website are ranked high that have mobile Apps. He also told about ad on Goog;e is Beneficial’cos Google Doesn’t charge for Ad., it takes money only when someone clicks on that ad.80% users use smartphones & 70% search through Google search engine, 30% search directly the website.
Then a video was shown how to make your whole home automated. This technology is available in the market. Then, Dr.Nitin Rastogi, Also IMS Gzb.told in detail how to make an App.All the students participated in the workshop wholecheartidly. Even the Principal & all the techers also were very happy & enlightened to attend it.

On The Occasion of International Women’s Day (8.3.19) a workshop of one day was conducted on 7th march (one day prior) in library Conference Hall in collaboration with Police Department.
DIG Sharad Sachan insisted thar women should be treated equally in society in every walk of life. He further said that girls should be aware of their rights and should boldly make police dept. aware timely if there is any crime being committed against them. Anti-Romeo Squad,UP 100 is instantly ready for them.
SSP Babloo Kumar told that crime against women in most of the cases is ubbailable. He also told about women Powerline, Citizen Emergency App. etc. Even the corridor of the Lib.Conference Hall was Packed with Participants both Teachers as well as students along with Police.

A Seminar was conducted today in Room. No.19, at 2:00 P.m. to tell students about SSC,Railways & different Govt. jobs for this seminar personnel from T.I.M.E. Mr.Saurabh , Mr.Amit Tiwari from Dehradun & Mr. Vishal Chand were invited. They told in details about different Govt. jobs, Banks, Railways, SSC etc. What is the eligibility criteria, posts, Perks & Salaries etc.& how to prepare for them. Students were also given the tips to manage time during these exams.
Room was packed with students apart from myself the Principal Dr. P.K. Varshney also encouraged & motivated the students to put their maximum efforts in these exams.

A Seminar was held today in CCC at 12:00 noon to commemorate Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti. Dr.Mamta Singhal, Dr.Shashi Nautiyal, Dr. Hari Om Gupta, Dr.Poonam, Dr.Shubra Chaturvedi, Dr.Ashok Kumar enlightened students by telling them about the life and teachings of Maharishi Valmiki. Dr. Rakesh Chandra and a few students also expressed their views and a students in praise of Maharishi Valmiki.

C.C.C. Organised a debate competition today on the topic’Corruption free India possible or not’ conducted by ‘Power Grid corporation of India ltd.
Sh.Sandeep Sheron (Asst.Manager, power grid,SRE) told about the whole procedure of producing electricity & Showed a short film also pretaining to that. then, students of B.A., B.Sc., B.Com & M.A. Participated in the debate on the abov topic.
Later on, sh.Shailendra Kumar(Senior DGM,PowerGrid)expressed his views on corruption.Dr.Mamta Singhal also spoke on debate and corruption quoting from Ramayan & Mahabharate.In the end, Mr.Uday Kumar(Chief Manager,Power Grid, SRe) also spoke on the topic and extended the vote of thanks.

To stop the youth from indulging in drug addiction , C.C.C. organised s session on 14.11.18 in room 19 at 11:00 a.m. It was an audio-Video presentation of about 2 hours presented by Dr.Sachin Parab Rajyogi Brahmakumari’s multifaceted personality who has given his life for Godly services,in association with Saharanpur Administration, Dr.Sharad Aggarwal(M.S.,M.Ch.) with catchword’My Saharanpur Addiction free Saharanpur’. The Programme was attend by more than 200 students and a number of teachers along students and a number of teachers along with the principal Dr.P.K.Varshney. The programme was a great success appreciated by all.

A Lecture on Yoga and Philosophy of life was delivered today by Sadwi Devaditi ji Pupil of Mahila Patanjali Yoga Samiti. After 3 days Yoga and Meditation Camp, She Delivered a lecture on the importance of Yoga & Meditation. How to control obesity, B.P., Sugar,Artheritis,Thyroid,Megra,Migraine,Stone,etc. were also explained.She told that India is not only a piece of Land but we are ‘Bharat’. It Yoga is necessary to Keep mind & Body Happy. She told about the importance of Kapalbhaati, Anulom-Vilom, Shrishaasan,Sarvangasan,Halaasan, Chakaraasan etc. Dr. Praveen, Dr.Shelly, Dr.Shweta, Bansal,Dr.Neelam Gaur,Dr.Khalid,Dr.Harveer,Dr.Vandana,Dr.R.K.Gupta were present along with aprrox.200 Students.
